Priced by the finished minute. The AI is included.
VIA plans are built around finished video minutes: the minutes that end up in your exported film. VIA picks and pays for the image, video and voice models, so there is one bill and no API keys. We expect plans to start around $99 a month, and we are setting the exact tiers with the creators in our private beta.

Tiers are indicative. Final prices and included minutes are published at launch; beta members get preferential pricing and a month's notice of any change.
- The unit is a finished minute: a minute of video that ends up in your exported film. Retakes VIA makes while getting those minutes right are on us, not counted against you.
- AI generation is included in the plan. VIA picks and pays for the image, video and voice models, so you never manage API keys or a second bill.
- Go past your included minutes and you keep working: extra minutes are billed by what they actually use, against a monthly cap you set, with the running total visible in the app.
- We expect plans to start around $99 a month. The exact tiers, included minutes and extra-minute price are being set together with our beta creators.
- The private beta is by invitation. New studios start with free welcome credits; beta members get preferential pricing when VIA launches.
Why we price by the finished minute
The real cost of AI video is not one generation. It is every retake, check and redraw it takes to get a scene that matches the script and the rest of the film. Tools that bill per generation push that cost, and that risk, onto you.
VIA carries it instead. Your plan covers the length of the video you actually publish, which is also the number you plan a channel around: a 10-minute video is 10 minutes. Go past it and extra minutes are billed by what they actually use, against a cap you set, never a padded flat rate.
It is also why you cannot pick the model. VIA routes each shot to the model that handles that kind of shot best and tunes the prompts for it. That is how a whole video stays consistent, and it is a promise we can only make if we hold the choice.
We are not publishing final numbers while the engine is still getting cheaper per finished minute. Pricing a product before you can produce it reliably is how creators end up absorbing someone else's miscalculation. The beta exists so the launch prices are the real ones.
Pricing questions
How much does VIA cost?
VIA is in private beta, by invitation. Every new studio starts with free welcome credits, and invited creators can buy more as they go. At launch, plans are built around finished video minutes with AI generation included, and we expect them to start at around $99 a month. The exact tiers, included minutes and extra-minute price are being set together with beta creators, so we are not publishing final numbers yet. Beta members get preferential pricing at launch.
Is the private beta free?
Taking part costs nothing, and every new studio starts with free welcome credits. Beyond those, invited creators buy credits for what they make; nothing is charged unless you buy. In return we ask for honest feedback on real productions, which is what shapes the plans at launch.
What is a finished minute?
One minute of video in your exported film. Stills and clips VIA regenerates while getting a scene right do not count against your minutes; only the length of the final cut does. It is the unit a channel is planned around: a ten-minute video is ten minutes.
What happens if I need more than my plan includes?
You keep working. Extra minutes are billed by what they actually use rather than a flat rate, against a monthly cap you set, with the running total visible in the app. The exact rate is being set during the beta.
How do I join the beta?
Apply at viaforcreators.com/beta with your email and the kind of videos you make. VIA is admitting a small number of creators at a time so every production gets proper attention.
Who owns the videos I make with VIA?
You do. Your scripts, characters, references and finished videos are yours to publish and monetize, and we claim no rights over them. One honest caveat, true of every AI tool: in the United States, material generated by AI without meaningful human authorship may not be protectable by copyright, so how much of a finished video you can register is a question of how much of it you shaped.
